McBess Interview
August 17, 2010 | In Art, Friends, Inspiration, VideoI’m still working at The Mill as a director, so there’s an overlap because we’re trying to use my style for commercials but the result is usually pretty far from what I do, because clients are a bit worried about having too many tits in their images.
Interesting interview with McBess over at my homies’ blog Because We Like To.
SF Trip Photos
July 4, 2010 | In Friends, Output, PhotographyThanks again piles to Rob & Celeste, probably my fave couple around for putting me up and hanging out while I was in town. And Bobby and Lesley. And of course Ted.
See you kids around the neighborhood.
So I Accidentally Made It A Book
June 14, 2010 | In Art, Friends, Mixtape, Output, Thoughts, ZineI’m putting the finishing touches today on the long-delayed Sad Jams / Gone Songs zine I started about one year ago (or probably a bit more actually) and I’ve realized that when you ask 10 of your friends to make art and contribute songs what you wind up with is a 52 page book. Whoops.
I’ll probably have to be more creative with the binding than a simple staple. Maybe two small books packaged together?
It will be out soon surely. I promise you and I’m SERIOUS this time. haha.
Details forthcoming.
For All My Droogs
May 21, 2010 | In Art, Design, Friends, VideoA friend of mine Thomas over here at Imaginary Forces made a poster based on Alex from Anthony Burgess A Clockwork Orange and apparently Malcolm McDowell likes it. I might just have to purchase one.
Type 3 Is Go
May 20, 2010 | In Friends, Output, PhotographySo last saturday I got the chance to shoot some photos as this gorgeous ’73 ’71 Volkswagen Fastback changed hands from one of my best friends to another one of my best friends. What a pretty car.
Have a look at the whole set.
August Has A Blog
May 18, 2010 | In Friends, Inspiration, Thoughts
A couple months ago two of my best friends from Denver decided to make the jump and move to Los Angeles. A big step surely, but one I think neither of them regrets. There’s just so much to explore and enjoy in this city. It may be sprawling, and not every part of it is cute and cozy, but it’s a pretty amazing town with plenty of room for a creative person to grow and be inspired by.
So please welcome to the City of Los Angeles, Austin Weyer. Glad you’re here buddy. Continued luck and success.

The Flood Plain
April 18, 2010 | In Art, Friends, Inspiration, MusicMy good friend and long-time collaborator and source of inspiration Robert Speicher has made a change to his online home. The Flood Plain is now a site for him to share his music and illustrations. Lyrics and Poetry. Really nice things.
Also check out some of his work he hung at X17 Gallery in Seattle in the Post : Hand show he and I and Milton Croissant the Third were all a part of on our flickr.
Bobby, you need to send me all your music as soon as possible. Thanks.
New (Old) Snaps From Carlos
March 19, 2010 | In Friends, Inspiration, Photography…on our Flickr. Some from our time in SF a couple summers ago. Some brand new and in Seattle I presume.
He has a show going up with some of these and some others at Cornish in April. If you live in Seattle AND are looking at this blog you almost certainly already know about it.
