She’ll Cut Up Your Face
August 25, 2010 | In Art, InspirationShe approaches people to ask, “Am I pretty?” If you say yes, she’ll kill you, and if you say no, she’ll take off her mask and show you her horrific Glasgow smile, the result of a cosmetic surgery procedure gone terribly wrong. She asks again, “Am I pretty?” If you say yes, she’ll cut up your face; if you say no, she’ll follow you home and THEN cut up your face, and if you say, “You look normal,” she’ll grow confused and wander away.
Hellen Jo draws some pretty amazing Asian Ghosts. Love me some gore plz.

McBess Interview
August 17, 2010 | In Art, Friends, Inspiration, VideoI’m still working at The Mill as a director, so there’s an overlap because we’re trying to use my style for commercials but the result is usually pretty far from what I do, because clients are a bit worried about having too many tits in their images.
Interesting interview with McBess over at my homies’ blog Because We Like To.

View from the shinkansen. Song is So High by Van She. Hypnotic. Beautiful.
Such a simple visual device but so well executed.
Like Star Guitar but just different enough that I remain fascinated.
